Q: Which account types are eligible for Third Party Connections?
A: The following account types are eligible for Third Party Connection:
- Business Integrated Account - HKD Current, HKD Savings and Foreign Currency Statement Savings. Other account types within a Business Integrated Account will not be supported.
- HKD Current accounts
- HKD Savings accounts (Passbook and Statement Savings)
- USD Passbook Savings
- Foreign Currency Current Accounts
- Foreign Currency Statement Savings
- RMB Savings accounts
- Time Deposit accounts

Q: Do I need to pay for HASE-Xero Third Party Connection Service?
A: No, there is no additional cost for setting up bank feeds from HSBC to Xero.
   
Q: How can I set up Third Party Connections?
A: Simply log in to Hang Seng Business Internet Banking as a Primary user and select "Manage Third Party Connections" under "Cash Management" in the menu. If you encounter any problems, please contact Xero customer service via http://support.xero.com.
   
Q: All users are allowed to manage Third Party Connections?
A: No. Only Primary user can manage Third Party Connections.
   
Q: What information will be shared between Hang Seng and Xero?
A: After giving your consent through Hang Seng Business Internet Banking, your account statement data, such as account balance and transaction details, will be automatically shared with Xero on a daily basis, commencing after two business days.
   
Q: I encountered an error or rejection message when I set up or revoked my Third Party Connection.
A: If you see "Service is temporarily unavailable. Please retry later.", please relaunch the page later. For any other error or rejection messages, please contact Xero customer service for assistance at http://support.xero.com.
   
Q: When can I see my account statement data in Xero website after setting up my Third Party Connection?
A: If you set up your Third Party Connection before cut-off time, your account statement data will be reflected in Xero website after two working days; if you set up your Third Party Connection after cut-off time, your account statement data will be reflected in Xero website after three working days.
   
Q: When will Hang Seng stop to send my account statement data to Xero after revoking my Third Party Connection?
A: If you revoke your Third Party Connection before cut-off time, Hang Seng will stop to send your account statement data after two working days; if you revoke your Third Party Connection after cut-off time, Hang Seng will stop to send your account statement data after three working days.
   
Q: What is the service cut-off time for Third Party Connection?
A: Third Party Connection service cut-off time is from Monday to Saturday 5:00pm (not including Sunday and Public Holiday).
