A more secure way to verify your identity
We've upgraded security measures by replacing SMS OTPs with other identity verification methods.
If you used HKID Card to open account and are eligible, simply verify your identity by taking a photo of your HKID Card (issued on or after 26 Nov 2018) and a selfie for registering Personal e-Banking and activating Mobile Security Key. Learn more via "Mobile Security Key and Biometric Authentication" > "How it works" section > "Personal e-Banking registration" and "Activate Mobile Security Key" tabs.
When resetting your Personal e-Banking password, simply verify your identity with a security code generated from Hang Seng Mobile App. Learn more via "How to log on and reset your password" > "How it works" section > "Reset password" tab.
