“SMS Sender Registration Scheme” Helps you verify Hang Seng SMS
*To prevent fraudsters from masquerading as reputable organizations and sending SMS to customers and to protect Hong Kong mobile users from fraud SMS messages, the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA), the telecommunications and bank industry have established the SMS Sender Registration Scheme (SMSRS) to assist the public in ascertaining the authenticity of SMS sender addresses, thereby combatting deception cases. In order to help you verify the authenticity of SMS messages, starting from 28 January 2024, Hang Seng will use "Registered SMS Sender IDs" with the prefix "#" to send SMS messages.Browse Hang Seng sender ID list and details
