    What is Cash Instalment?

    Cash Instalment helps you cash out your credit limit from credit card and disburse to your bank account for flexible use. You can repay by monthly instalment at a monthly handling fee as low as 0.18% (APR as low as 3.76%)1. Monthly repayment will be billed to your credit card account and you can settle together with other retail spending transaction in credit card statement.

    Yes, it is fixed in each and every month during the repayment period of credit card instalment.

    If your cash out amount exceed the pre-approved amount, you have to submit income proof for review. Please submit the relevant supporting document within 3 working days after application via any of the following channels:

    • Upload via Document Submission
    • Upload via Hang Seng Mobile App: Menu > Cards > Document Submission
    • Fax to (852) 2269 3096 (Please write your credit card number on the top right corner of the relevant documents)

    Other point(s) to note

    1. If you fail to make full repayment of the statement balance specified in your credit card account statement on or before the payment due date of each month, you shall pay a finance charge and other charges on any monthly instalment amount due but unpaid at the prevailing interest rate applicable to your credit card account from the post date of such monthly instalment.

    Remark(s)

    1. The 0.18% monthly handling fee is applicable to selected customers and the approved cash instalment amount has to reach the specific requirement, and is for reference only. The handling fee is to be determined by Hang Seng from time to time for individual promotion. The annualized percentage rate (APR) of 0.18% monthly handling fee are as follows: 3.76% for 6 months, 4.04% for 12 months, 4.18% for 24 months, 4.20% for 36 months, 4.20% for 48 months, 4.19% for 60 months. The APR is calculated based on the requirement of the Code of Banking Practice. APR is a reference rate which expresses the fees and charges of respective product as an annualized rate.
    2. Customers can log on to personal e-Banking or call 2998 6868 to check if qualified for pre-approved instalment. For details, please refer to Terms & Conditions for Cash Instalment plan clause 1, 2 & 4.
    3. Specific approved cash instalment amount and repayment period of 12 months or above is required. Enjoy up to HKD500 handling fee rebate upon successful application. Apply online to enjoy up to extra HKD800 handling fee rebate.
