Gold Price

1. Applicable to Statement Gold / Paper Gold Grain.
   
2. Applicable to Hang Seng Logo Gold Bar (God of Wealth) and Hang Seng Logo Gold Bar (Year of Dragon) only.
3. If the Bank sell price for a physical gold product is displayed as ’---‘, it means the Bank sell price of the relevant product is currently not available.
4. Terms and conditions of buy back of physical gold products
   1. Customers selling back physical gold products must be account holders of the Bank.
      
   2. When sell back physical gold products to the Bank, customers are required to present the original copy of the trading memo and/or purchase order issued by the Bank.
      
   3. The Bank reserves the right to inspect the physical gold product sold back by customer. If the condition of the physical gold product has been changed, such as damaged or deformed, the Bank reserves the right to refuse any buy back request.
      
   4. Hang Seng Bank Limited shall have the sole and absolute discretion to make final determination regarding the buy back of physical gold products including any relevant procedures and buy back price as applicable. The buy back price will be determined with reference to the condition of the relevant physical gold product and market prices, or the existence of any other conditions that need special consideration, such price may be lower than the price quoted by the Bank for physical gold products under normal circumstances.
      
   5. If customer could not present the original copy of the trading memo and/ or purchase order issued by the Bank, or if the condition of the physical gold product has been changed, or there exists any other conditions that need special consideration, the relevant buy back can only be performed on Monday – Friday (except public holidays).
      

The price of gold may go up as well as down and the past performance of price of gold is not indicative of future performance.
