This plan offers a Policy Term of 3 years with Total Premiums Paid refundable irrespective of any claims of Supplementary Benefits[1] made. Annual payment or Monthly payment are available which cope with your needs flexibly.

Daily premium is as low as HKD12[5]. You can pay premiums either annually or monthly to fit your needs .
No matter where you are, if you need Hospital Confinement[2] due to a Bodily Injury or a Sickness, Disease or Illness and such confinement is certified by a Registered Doctor to be Medically Necessary, a Daily Hospital Cash Benefit[3] will be offered. With admission to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) during Hospital Confinement, an Extra Hospital Cash Benefit[4] shall be paid.
While the policy is in force, in the unfortunate event of death of the Life Insured, the beneficiary will receive the Death Benefit equivalent to 100% of the Total Premiums Paid.
In the event of the Life Insured's death due to Accident, an additional Accidental Death Benefit equivalent to 100% of the Total Premiums Paid under the Basic Plan will be paid.
Once paying the Death Benefit or Accidental Death Benefit compensation, the policy will be terminated accordingly.

If the Hospital Confinement occurs in mainland China (excluding the Hong Kong SAR, the Macau SAR and Taiwan), we will only pay Daily Hospital Cash Benefit[3] and/or Extra Hospital Cash Benefit[4] under this policy if the medical services are provided in the hospitals that are formally assessed and rated by the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China or local governments’ health commissions of the People's Republic of China as a “Class III Grade A” hospital or above.
Yes, as long as the total Sum Insured of EasyRefund 100% Global Hospital Cash Plan (3-Year) is no more than HKD1,500, you may apply online for more than one policy of this plan. For non-income earner (i.e. homemaker / students / retirees and unemployed), the maximum coverage is HKD1,000.

Once reaching the maximum number of claim, the Supplementary Benefit[1] will immediately and automatically cease. However, the policy is still in-force, and other benefit will not be affected.

During each policy year of the policy, the cumulative maximum number of days of Hospital Confinement for which Daily Hospital Cash Benefit is payable shall not exceed one hundred 100 days. During the whole Policy Term of the policy, the cumulative maximum number of days of Hospital Confinement for which Daily Hospital Cash Benefit is payable per policy shall not exceed three hundred 300 days.
If the Hospital Confinement occurs in a place[8] other than listed as a Benefit Area[7], the amount payable for Each Day of Daily Hospital Cash Benefit will be limited to 50% of the benefit amount and the cumulative maximum number of days of Hospital Confinement for which Daily Hospital Cash Benefit is payable per policy shall not exceed 30 days during the whole Policy Term of the policy.
The Daily Hospital Cash Benefit and Extra Hospital Cash Benefit will immediately and automatically cease once total claims of Daily Hospital Cash Benefit reach 300 days of Hospital Confinement.
For Each Day of Hospital Confinement, the Extra Hospital Cash Benefit will be paid only when the Daily Hospital Cash Benefit is eligible to be paid.
During the whole Policy Term of the policy, the cumulative maximum number of days of Hospital Confinement (which admission to Intensive Care) for which Extra Hospital Cash Benefit is payable per policy shall not exceed 60 days.
If the Hospital Confinement occurs in a place[8] other than listed as a Benefit Area[7], the amount payable for Each Day of Extra Hospital Cash Benefit will be limited to 50% of the benefit amount and the cumulative maximum number of days of Extra Hospital Cash Benefit is payable per policy shall not exceed 30 days during the whole Policy Term of the policy.
The Extra Hospital Cash Benefit will immediately and automatically cease once total claims of Daily Hospital Cash Benefit reach 300 days of Hospital Confinement.
Daily Hospital Cash Benefit and Extra Hospital Cash Benefit are subject to 30 days waiting period – Cover Sickness, Disease or Illness occurring at least 30 days after the policy date or the effective date of reinstatement, whichever is later.
Once you complete the online EasyRefund application form, you will be asked to confirm and verify your details on a preview page. The same day, a confirmation email will be sent to the email address you provided in your application, assuring you that your application of this plan has been received.
We will notify you regarding the application notification by sending a SMS to your default mobile number on record at Hang Seng Bank after 7 to 10 working days under normal circumstances. Once the policy has been successfully issued, you can view the policy details and policy pack by logging on Hang Seng Bank Personal e-Banking (Desktop) > "Insurance" > "My insurance". If you haven't registered for Hang Seng Bank Personal e-Banking, a paper version of the policy pack will also be prepared for you. This simplified process frees you from the hassle of typical insurance applications.

The Plan offers a grace period of 30 days for payment of any premium when due. If a premium is not paid by the end of the grace period, the policy will immediately lapse.
If you are not satisfied with your policy, you have the right to cancel it within 21 calendar days cooling off period by returning the policy surrender form and obtain a refund of any premium and premium levy paid. After the cooling-off period, the policy holder may request for policy surrender (i.e. Policy cancellation) by returning the policy surrender form at any time, after which the policy will terminate.
If the customer cancels his or her policy after the cooling off period, regardless of any claims made previously, the premium based on the corresponding schedule below will be refunded, provided the policy is still in force on the day of policy surrender.
